Parents as Partners

Join Dean of Students, Matt Caires, as he shares how parents and family members can stay connected and involved with their student as they navigate the winding road of college life and adulthood. This popular session will include tips on how to support your future MSU student, an introduction to the Bobcat Parent and Family Program, and feature a LIVE Q&A with current MSU parents and Dean Caires.

Countdown to Orientation

Join MSU's Orientation team to discuss what you can expect from your Orientation program and how you will register for your first semester of classes at MSU. Orientation registration opened on February 18, and its sessions will take place over the summer. Registering for Orientation lets us know that you are planning to enroll at MSU this fall! We invite you and your family to this informative webinar to ask questions about the next steps and which items should be crossed off of your list before you attend Orientation.

Paying for School

Join staff from MSU’s Office of Financial Aid, Office of Financial Education, and Office of Admissions for a 45-minute interactive online presentation about paying for school. MSU representatives will cover Fall 2025 scholarship and financial aid opportunities, significant dates and deadlines, and important updates to the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) processes to keep in mind to make your university experience affordable.
