Back for its second year, Cooking on a Budget is an interactive, hands-on cooking workshop designed to help MSU students develop practical cooking skills and financial confidence. Whether you’re a beginner or just looking to stretch your grocery dollars, this class will show you how to cook healthy meals on a student budget.

Cooking on a Budget helps students discover that good food and good finances go hand-in-hand.
During this two-hour session, you’ll learn:
- How to grocery shop on a budget
- Simple, nutritious recipes using affordable ingredients
- Cooking and meal prep techniques for busy college life
- Tips for reducing food waste and stretching your dollar

Where: MSU Gallatin College - Thyme Bistro
Cost: FREE for all MSU students (space is limited)
