Current Research:

I will be looking at whitebark pine restoration in Glacier National Park. The Park has been outplanting blister rust resistant seedlings since 2000, which I have had the privilege to be a part of for the past five years as one of the park botanists. I am interested in examining spatial data, parent tree influence, climatic factors, and blister rust prevalence in these out-planted seedlings to identify patterns of success to inform future planting sites and maximize survival of seedlings.
