  • PAAC Committee will continue to look for an artist to contract for the project.
  • COVID-19 is lengthening the process for finding an artist.
  • The art will be a stand-alone project and thus will not be held to the same timeline as the BAC renovation.

ITEM No.2 – Art Contract Language

Presenter: Jaclyn Liebscher

  • Force Majeure language was created to be used as standard language in future Artist contracts.
  • The inclusion of the clause will protect MSU and the artists.
  • This language was approved by MSU legal council.
  • No objections were voiced by the PAAC Committee, so the Force Majeure clause will become standard language in all contracts forthwith.

  • PAAC Committee members agreed to approve this location for public art at MSU.
  • The scope of the project will be determined at a later date.

ITEM No. 4 – Romney “4” Sculpture

  • Keely Holmes seconded the motion.
  • PAAC Committee voted to unanimously approve the relocation of the “4” Sculpture.
