API Access
Catchat has an API that you are able to access with a key, that allows you to access the models on Catchat, plus a few more for agentic use cases.
To get access to this system. Please visit the CatChat API Key Manager and login with your MSU account and generate a key. Image generation is not possible over this API. Keys are limited to 180 days before expiration and must be regenerated after that. if your department is not avalable as a team pleasecontact rci-support@montana.edu to be added. To acess the key manager you must either conect to the VPN or be conected to MSU-Secure Wi-Fi.
The Models that are available for use through the api include all of the models on the Chat interface, plus a few extras that can enhance the agentic capabilities of a program.
