26-27 Teen 4-H Ambassador Program
4-H Youth Ambassadors:
Are you ready to take your 4-H experience to the next level? The Teton County 4-H Teen Ambassador Program provides motivated teen members with opportunities to develop leadership skills,
represent 4-H throughout the county, and make a positive impact in their communities.
Teen Ambassadors serve as role models, help plan and support county-wide events, and
gain valuable experiences that prepare them for future education, careers, and community
leadership.
Why Become a Teen Ambassador:
As a Teen Ambassador, you will:
- Build leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Represent Teton County 4-H at county events and activities.
- Help welcome and mentor younger 4-H members.
- Serve on a county-level 4-H planning committee.
- Attend county 4-H Council meetings and share updates from your committee.
- Participate in the Montana 4-H Fall Teen Leadership Training Weekend in Billings, November 6 - 8, 2026.
- Assist with county programs and events, including Livestock Quality Assurance (LQA), Communications Day, and the Teton County Fair.
- Strengthen your resume, scholarship applications, and career readiness skills through meaningful leadership experiences.
Teen Ambassador Expectations:
Members selected as Teen Ambassadors will:
- Enroll in the 4-H Leadership Project at the appropriate level.
- Serve on one county-level 4-H planning committee.
- Attend two county 4-H Council meetings and report on committee progress.
- Participate in the Fall Teen Leadership Training Weekend.
- Assist with county 4-H educational programs and events as schedules allow.
- Complete and present their leadership project during Interview Judging at the 2027 Teton County Fair.
Returning Ambassadors
Returning Teen Ambassadors are encouraged to continue their leadership journey by
updating their 4-H resume and cover letter and advancing to the next level of the
4-H Leadership Project. Experienced ambassadors provide valuable mentorship, continuity,
and leadership within the Teton County 4-H program.
How to Apply:
Applications for the 2026-2027 Teton County 4-H Teen Ambassador Program are due Friday, October 16, 2026. Returning ambassadors should submit an updated resume and cover letter either by
mail (postmarked by October 16) or electronically to teton@montana.edu
