The Graduate School requires students to submit a Program of Study. The program of study acts as a contract between the student, the department, the college, The Graduate School, and the University. The program of study defines the minimum requirements for the degree, including courses, research, and exams.

Doctoral students must submit their program of study before the end of their third semester and/or prior to sitting for the comprehensive exam. Master’s students must submit before the end of their second semester and/or prior to sitting for the comprehensive exam. Certificate students must submit by the end of their first semester.
